In the GE garage...
My big boss (who looks like brad pitt) wanted to fine any one who does a mistake on the files or ppt presentation... depending on the severity, one has to pay accordingly into this piggy bank (he told me to get st).

Day 5 in Stamford - 3 Cheers to me!
Decided to steer away from all those picture for a while and write some stuff...
LOST
It's an amazing self discovery just 5 days here on my own in Stamford. The first few days here was like trying hard to figure where is what, what to do, how to settle in, where to get what I need... etc... just lost. Trying to find the entrance to the mall, finding a phone card, boil water, walking around without any sense of direction, driving on the other side of the road, figuring how to drive to office, asking about utilities and parking. There is no roomie to check these things out with me like the last time in NY, there is no Miaoy/Joany/Shany I can just call at certain hours, there is no Annie to clean my room, there is no dad and mum to do things for me. Feeling really scared at times. Then the sudden realization sank in that I'm all alone. But this gal gotta do what she has to do.
What a gal has to do
So she figures, she finds out, she drives, she thinks and most of all she tries. And gradually, it all figured out. She walks on the street carefree and confidently, knowing where to go, enjoying the sunshine, the breeze on her face. She is starting to like the freedom. I can't help but feel a little more grown up and a little proud of myself.
Daily dose of life
The apartment is becoming a home. Somewhere I look forward to after work. The Stamford office is cool too and I am getting in sync with the kind of life here. I thought I was going to feel so lonely but alas, everyday has been so filled. The mall 5 mins, the library 5 mins, subway & macs & Dunkin 5 mins, cinema 5 mins, gym 2 mins, huge TV right in front with Olympics every day... packing, driving, working, Olympics, slacking, cooking. So occupied that I haven't started on the 2 books I've borrowed :)
Treasure
I suddenly realize how everything is just right there at home. With Dad, Mum, Sis, Bamz, Ju, just all there for me. And all my friends too. Made me treasure what was there much much more.
Looking forward
Now, I'm looking forward to lunch with CK tml, Karla's bdae party this Saturday, my fellow SEA FMPs arrival (Davin, Dwi & WC) next week, going down to NY, meeting Ju in Houston, having Mummy and Sissy down here then later having Ju here with me.
Yet I am nervous about my FMP class, work next week, driving down to Norwalk and then Fairfield for lessons. More challenges on the way, but somehow I think I will pull through or rather I will have to.
Now back to photos *haha*
